Well this is it, the London Olympics 2012 are just around the corner and I can hardly contain my excitement!
Olympians really do come in all shapes and sizes but one thing you can be certain of; they all have is a nice firm butt.
The gluteus maximus is the largest muscle in the body so the stronger it is the nicer your butt will look.
Try these bodyweight butt exercises to make sure your butt is firm and strong
Having strong gluteal muscles also helps to stabilize your lower back, hips and legs.
This workout is ideal for the ‘time challenged’ and busy women because you can fit it in to your week, right along side your current workout.
Perform this bodyweight butt workout twice a week.
With each butt exercise do 12 reps.
Complete each exercise one after the other without any rest.
Then rest for 30 seconds and repeat the entire circuit 3 more times.
Warm up before going into the main workout by doing one minute of jump jacks or burpees.
Single Leg Deadlift
Laying Hip Extension
